Hi, I’m Madi! I’m an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor who is passionate about blending creativity and therapy to support healing and self-discovery. I take an individualized, eclectic approach—drawing from humanistic, feminist, and existential perspectives while incorporating evidence-based practices like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic psychotherapy.
I specialize in working with anxiety, neurodivergence, trauma, OCD, and LGBTQ+ issues. But more than anything, I believe therapy should be a collaborative and empowering space. I don’t see myself as the expert with all the answers—instead, I’m here as a guide, helping you explore, process, and build the tools you need to navigate life’s challenges.
Creativity plays a huge role in my work. I love incorporating movement, art, and drama therapy techniques (which, I promise, are way less intimidating than they sound!). That said, creativity in therapy doesn’t have to be front and center—it’s always an option, never a requirement. My priority is finding what feels right and most effective for each client.
I primarily work with children (ages 5–12) and adults 18+, with a special focus on young adults. My playful, compassionate approach helps clients of all ages feel safe, seen, and supported as they move through their therapeutic journey.
