Hello, my name is Katelyn, and I’m a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist working under the supervision of a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist as I work toward full licensure.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Cal State San Marcos in 2018, and completed my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2022. I began providing therapy in 2021 as a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee, and since then, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals across the lifespan — including children, teens, adults, couples, and families.
I have experience supporting clients from diverse backgrounds and with a wide range of concerns. My clinical approach is integrative and flexible — drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), among others. I tailor each session to meet your individual needs, helping you navigate challenges in a way that feels authentic and empowering.
Starting therapy can be a big step, and I recognize how difficult — and courageous — it can be to reach out for support. Whether you're here to process past experiences, improve relationships, or find new ways to cope, my hope is that we can build a strong, supportive connection and work together toward your goals. Finding the right fit is important, and I’d be honored to be part of your journey if it feels right for you.
