I earned my graduate degree in Social Work from Arizona State University in 2022 and recently began working as an associate clinical therapist for Thrive Well Trauma Center in Temecula, California. My previous employer as a clinician was MFI Recovery Center in Murrieta, California where I worked directly with mental health clients as well as those seeking recovery support services. I earned my undergraduate degree in Human Development and Counseling, with a minor in Women's Studies from California State University San Marcos, as well as an Associate Degree in Liberal Studies, Human and Behavioral Sciences at Mt. San Jacinto Community College. My most recent adventure into education was earning a certification from Cal Poly Pomona for Women in Leadership. I have also worked in the past as a Substance Abuse Counselor, and volunteered with some non-profit organizations that serve different populations. One organization was The Alabaster Jar Project, which is a non-profit agency in Escondido, California that serves women who are exiting the sex trade industry or have been sexually exploited. I have also worked as a health coach for Healthy Adventures Foundation and was placed at Polinsky children's center, an emergency placement agency for foster children ages 0 to 18 in San Diego, California. I spent a year volunteering with a local feeding ministry that partnered with the Orange County Rescue Mission to provide food, clothing, and baby items for those in the local community. I enjoy working with diverse populations and communities that experience oppression as an ally and advocate. Please check out my e-portfolio for the projects I have worked on.
