Life’s challenges can leave us feeling disconnected from ourselves, our relationships, and the life we want to live. My goal is to provide a compassionate, supportive space where clients feel safe to explore their experiences, process difficult emotions, and develop the tools needed to create meaningful and lasting change. I believe healing happens through connection, self-awareness, and the courage to move toward growth, even during life’s most difficult seasons.
I earned my Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from California Baptist University and am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC). Before transitioning into the mental health field, I worked in holistic healthcare as a fitness coach, supporting individuals with physical disabilities and chronic health conditions. This experience deepened my passion for helping people overcome challenges, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives.
I am committed to helping individuals move beyond simply surviving and begin truly thriving. I have had much success working with couples to create or restore safe, secure connections. I take an Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) approach when working with couples, families, and individuals, while also integrating boundary work when needed. I am passionate about helping clients process significant and complex trauma so they can experience greater peace, healing, and fulfillment in their daily lives.
I have experience working with grief, anxiety, ADHD, depression, OCD, suicidal ideation, non-suicidal self-injury, addiction recovery, and relational difficulties. I also welcome clients who wish to integrate their faith into the therapeutic process and provide a supportive space to explore both emotional and spiritual growth.
When working with teenagers and young adults, I utilize a strength-based Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) approach, often incorporating art therapy to make the therapeutic process more engaging, comfortable, and meaningful.
