Welcome!
I’m Brittany Perez, and I’m so glad you’re here. My life experiences and educational background have shaped my passion for supporting children, adolescents and families.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of California, Riverside, followed by my Master of Arts in Counseling (K–12 & Higher Education) and Pupil Personnel Services Credential (PPSC) in School Counseling from the University of Redlands. I also completed a post-graduate certificate in LPCC Respecialization in Clinical Counseling from Azusa Pacific University.
I have over 14 years of experience providing mental health services to children, adolescents, and their families across school-based, community mental health, nonprofit, and private practice settings.
Throughout my career, I have supported youth and families navigating trauma, grief, emotional and behavioral challenges, school-related concerns, neurodevelopmental differences, and major life transitions.
As both a therapist and a parent, I understand that raising children can be incredibly rewarding while also bringing unexpected challenges. I believe the best therapy happens when children and teens feel safe, parents feel supported, and everyone works together.
My goal is to create a welcoming space where kids can be themselves, build confidence, learn new skills, and have fun along the way.
I integrate child-centered play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, emotion coaching & behavioral parent training, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed practices to meet the unique needs of each family.
