What if I told you that you already possess beautiful strengths that can support you through the winding, often bumpy, path of being a woman navigating this world? Well, you do, even if they’re challenging to identify at times. I am Shanda Brennan, and as your Licensed Clinical Social Worker and therapist, I will help you identify your strengths and provide you the safe space, non-judgmental support, unconditional positive regard and empathy necessary to feel, process, heal and grow.
We will work collaboratively to focus on the areas where you seek support and utilize the education I gained while earning my Master of Social Work degree from California State University, San Bernardino, followed by my multiple years of clinical experience in evidence based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Brainspotting, Interpersonal Psychotherapy and Solution Focused Brief Therapy, to guide your unique and individualized therapeutic process.
I work with women seeking relief and healing from symptoms related to depression, anxiety, chronic illness, female cancer diagnosis, end of life, infertility, caregiver burnout, role changes, trauma, grief/loss and interpersonal relationship challenges. Our experiences as women are unique, but you are not alone. I look forward to walking beside you in your therapeutic journey.
