Hi, I’m Michelle Villa! I’m a licensed marriage and family therapist, but you may also think of me as a self-care motivator or a mindfulness coach. I received my master’s degree from Chapman University in 2010 and since then I have worked with many different populations. I have also completed a RYT-200hr yoga teacher training.
I enjoy working with clients who want to learn about themselves, grow, and are ready for change. I help clients that feel overwhelmed to face their fears and to feel less helpless.Currently I work with clients ages 18 and up and specialize in anxiety, panic disorder, young adults, and women. I am also known to use my yoga training to teach my clients mindfulness and breathing techniques. Throughout the therapeutic process I support, guide, and motivate clients so they can feel heard, supported, and capable.
From my own life experiences and many years working with women with anxiety disorders I know that taking care of your mind, body and spirit is most important.
