Tiffani Taft, LMFT

CSAT, EMDR Certified
Sex Addiction Therapy Certified
I am grateful that you have made the step to create a happier, healthier life. Life can become unmanageable, stressful and chaotic when you haven’t dealt with the difficulties of your past or situations that suddenly come up that knock you off your foundation. Healing and change is a process which is most productive when we work together toward common goals. Allow me to guide, support, encourage, educate and find yourself again or develop who you want to become. You are greater than your pain and stronger than you think you are.
I tried to stop, but I can’t! My pornography use/sexual behavior is getting in the way of my relationship – Aren’t I enough? Doesn’t he love me? I am in so much pain, hurting because my partner watches porn or sexually acts out in our relationship
Trauma is often the result of an overwhelming amount of stress that exceeds one’s ability to cope, or integrate the emotions involved with that experience- I work to relieve symptoms of trauma from a difficult childhood, challenging relationships or events that have contributed to anxiety, depression, addiction and more.

I believe that the client is the expert in their own lives and holds the capabilities to impact their well-being. Through each therapeutic journey I use a combination of my therapeutic training, intuition, and empathetic skills to work as a bridge to assist my clients in connecting to their own deeper wisdom. It is through this wisdom that clients can become reintroduced to their preferred identities and ways of living. Do you turn to food, alcohol, other harmful substances or behaviors for short-term comfort and self-soothing, leaving you feeling more exhausted and alone? Do you feel overwhelmed and want to “numb out?” Maybe you keep finding yourself in unhealthy relationships, drinking too much, bingeing on food, or seeking other “quick fixes” for your discomfort.
Are you tired of doing the same thing, getting the same results, and don’t know how to change despite having the desire to do so? If so, maybe it’s time to explore what’s keeping you stuck. Perhaps it’s old, painful experiences that you don’t realize are connected to your current difficulties.
Together we will explore and reveal unhealthy coping mechanisms and patterns that you’ve built over the years which no longer serve you. I seek to help you break the chains of old wounds, leaving you free to choose and and live the life you desire.
